O Canada, We Stand on Guard for Thee!

Canada needs the Lord. Canada needs to the Gospel. As the Finding the Hope campaign reaches more and more communities, it is vital that prayers continue to be made for the Church, the campaign and especially for those who will receive the gospel booklet in their homes.

It Can Happen Again!

The words startled me… “Canadian life and culture was once profoundly shaped by the Gospel. It can and must happen again!” Had I heard that right? The speaker, Dr. Michael Haykin, was addressing the Gospel Coalition Conference, held this spring in southern Ontario. In a compelling presentation, he was describing the core

Turning Over a New [Maple] Leaf

Is something extraordinary happening in Canada today? Over the past several decades a wave of secularism has flooded over our nation. At times it has seemed like a tsunami, sweeping aside standards and leaving a tangled moral mess in its wake.

Reaching “The Uttermost Place” on Earth

In the brutal cold of a Nepalese winter, 67 Christ Group leaders met earlier this year for four days of intensive training. Some of them walked for three days in order to reach the nearest bus stops from which they travelled on to their ultimate destination, the city of Butwal in western Nepal.

It’s Hard…But It’s Never Been Easier

The challenge is formidable: How do we make the Gospel present in Canadian society?   Every person in our country needs to know about Jesus, but as Paul the Apostle said, “how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” The answer is, they cannot.

Finding the Hope Lights Up Brighton

It began with a brief phone call and a simple question: How could the churches in Brighton reach our community with the Gospel? The answer to that question—Finding The Hope—spread from one pastor to another. Before long, leaders and members from area churches were meeting to pray, plan and then mobilize for one mission:

EHC Togo

In 2003 EHC Togo launched an ambitious strategy to mobilize thousands of Christians to pursue two goals: 1) To reach every home in Togo; and 2) To establish 7,500 new fellowships or churches across the nation. Nothing so adventurous had ever been attempted by EHC in a French Africa nation.

Day after day, EHC pioneer missionaries and volunteers

Small Nation, Big Impact

Uruguay is a nation virtually unknown by the majority of people beyond its borders. Situated at the southern tip of Brazil, Uruguay is Latin America’s smallest nation. But in spite of its diminutive size it is home to one of EHC’s most vibrant works, a ministry that has delivered the gospel

FTH Campaigns Advance Throughout France

FINDING THE HOPE IN THE CITIES OF FRANCE “They described their personal encounter with Jesus.” “They grasped the truth that Jesus loves them profoundly.” “The reality of Christ moved them to commit their lives to Him and to be baptized because of their devotion to Him.”

“I Need God” —Writing From Prison

The FTH campaign took place last year, but the impact continues. This April, EHC received a letter from a 25-year-old man in a Saskatchewan jail with the words “I need God!” in large bold letters. He asked for a copy of 7 Days with Jesus and for EHC to pray for him.

FTH Request on a Dinner Napkin

A Montreal senior was so anxious to receive a copy of 7 Jours avec Jésus (7 Days with Jesus) that she wrote to EHC using what she had at hand—a dinner napkin. The lady, who lives in a retirement home, didn’t even live in the north end, where the Église Chrétienne d’Ahuntsic campaign occurred.
