Finding the Hope | Trouver l’espoir Canadians are receiving the message of Hope in English and in French. Finding the Hope campaigns recently took place in the greater Moncton area in NB and also in French-speaking areas including Dieppe, NB and Gatineau, QC.

Canada needs the Lord. Canada needs to the Gospel. As the Finding the Hope campaign reaches more and more communities, it is vital that prayers continue to be made for the Church, the campaign and especially for those who will receive the gospel booklet in their homes.

Is something extraordinary happening in Canada today? Over the past several decades a wave of secularism has flooded over our nation. At times it has seemed like a tsunami, sweeping aside standards and leaving a tangled moral mess in its wake.

In the brutal cold of a Nepalese winter, 67 Christ Group leaders met earlier this year for four days of intensive training. Some of them walked for three days in order to reach the nearest bus stops from which they travelled on to their ultimate destination, the city of Butwal in western Nepal.

The challenge is formidable: How do we make the Gospel present in Canadian society?   Every person in our country needs to know about Jesus, but as Paul the Apostle said, “how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” The answer is, they cannot.

It began with a brief phone call and a simple question: How could the churches in Brighton reach our community with the Gospel? The answer to that question—Finding The Hope—spread from one pastor to another. Before long, leaders and members from area churches were meeting to pray, plan and then mobilize for one mission:
