EHC France has some very special friends in Martinique. Among them are the mayor of the town of Le Vauclin, Mr. Raymond Occolier, and also the chief magistrate of the town. In February of this year, Mr. Occolier requested 1,800 Finding the Hope booklets for an outreach in Le Vauclin.
We give thanks to the Lord for these committed Christians and leaders who share their faith openly.

Michelle decided to give her first Finding the Hope booklet to Carmen, a lady janitor at her place of work. The impact on Carmen’s heart was profound.
She said, “While reading this booklet I saw my whole life pass before my eyes. I cried. I needed to hear this message that forgiveness is possible. There are many around me who need to hear it too.”
That same day Carmen also began to share the Finding the Hope booklet with people around her. We thank God for what He did for Carmen and pray that this miracle of grace will be repeated in many who are receiving the booklet.
Pastor Richard Khan is a prison chaplain. He now gives the Finding the Hope booklet to prisoners. He said, “It is a great challenge to proclaim freedom in Christ to men in prison, but there is nothing more beautiful. Here, grace spreads in abundance.”
We thank the Lord for the vision of Pastor Khan and pray that even behind bars, many will experience true freedom in Christ.
Requests for Finding the Hope booklets to support evangelism are constantly increasing in French Guiana. Churches continue to visit homes in Macouria. The first areas targeted are in the boroughs Soula 1 and 2 and Carapace.
In Matoury, a young church began to visit homes systematically once a week. In Cayenne and Kourou, outreaches continue to make Jesus known. The Church in these areas is convinced that a clear presentation of the Gospel is effective in leading people to Christ.
