In the city of Angarsk, a newly formed church recently visited 1000 homes and led 16 people to the Lord.
“We visited one girl who has three kids and a sick grandma. It was obviously understood from the very beginning that she was in a deep depression; her eyes were filled with emptiness and disappointment. The day before she was planning to commit suicide.We talked to her a lot, shared the Good News and she received Jesus as her Saviour. After a repenting her eyes looked differently. There was a light and a joy inside. Then we prayed for her family and thanked God for guarding people until the point of life transformation.
We entered another home, preached and people listened attentively and sincerely accepted Christ. Afterward one lady asked us to pray for her 80-year-old mother who had been laying paralyzed in bed for years. She appeared to be out of her mind and often shouted. Her relatives were tired of her screaming and difficult behavior. We began to pray for her asking God to open her mind toward repentance. Suddenly she opened her eyes and questioned: who are you? We shared with her about Jesus and she agreed to repent, but when we led her up to the end of sinner’s prayer she couldn’t repeat the phrase: – God, save my soul! She started gasping and screaming. We prayed for her more intensely and consequently a certain spirit came out and left her. She got calm and all the screams ceased at once. God is merciful and particularly to those who are infirm and suffering. Praise to Him!”
