Canada needs the Lord. Canada needs to the Gospel. As the Finding the Hope campaign reaches more and more communities, it is vital that prayers continue to be made for the Church, the campaign and especially for those who will receive the gospel booklet in their homes.
In prayer we lay our nation under a canopy of grace, mercy and compassion. In a very real way we lay all of Canada’s 34 million people lovingly at the feet of Jesus, asking for His intervention.
Throughout the month of July, we encourage you to remember Canada in your prayers, knowing that because of God’s love and compassion, it will make a difference.
Here are a few practical suggestions…
• Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our nation that will awaken in people the awareness that God is real and that He can be known.
• Pray for a renewed vision of the spiritual harvest in Canada. Pray for congregations to be renewed in faith, vision and mission by the Spirit and the Word.
• Pray for sufficient funds to send the Finding the Hope packet to the approximately 14 million households in Canada. Pray for people to be prompted to open the packet and read the booklet with open hearts.
• Pray that in His kindness the Lord will lead many to repentance and pour out His love into many hearts. Pray that many will believe in Jesus and respond to His offer of salvation.
• Pray that many who receive the Finding the Hope booklet will connect with a local church and be nurtured and established in the faith. Pray for spiritual protection over the harvest.
• Pray for God’s protection over every aspect of the Finding the Hope initiative and for everyone who participates in this campaign of hope.
• Pray for a revival across Canada that will transform lives and open a way for the Gospel to renew every aspect of Canadian life and society.
