Eternal God, we thank you for the gift of a New Year, filled with hope because of your Presence in this world!
Lord, Father and Creator, we thank you for the gifts of the past, given generously—immeasurable goodness and enduring 
mercy, loving kindness and infinite compassion. You have preserved our lives and sustained us until today.
Grant that this New Year the risen Lord will watch over us, guide us in all we do, strengthen us in your service and lead us in paths of righteousness.
By your Holy Spirit, renew our faith day by day and guard our days and nights that we may be delivered from all the assaults of the Enemy.
In your Son Jesus Christ you have given us a true faith and a true hope. Help us to share this faith and this hope with those around us and with those far away from us. For you, O Lord, are the hope of all humankind, the only One who can satisfy the longings of the soul and the hunger of the heart. In you alone is salvation!
Loving Father, bless and preserve your children. And draw the children of darkness into your marvelous light!
Put in our hearts all that we need to serve you with pure intentions. Put in our hands all that we need to make great progress in the mission you have given your church—to reach the lost with the glad news of salvation in Christ.
Bless your servants everywhere in the world. Particularly grant protection, strength and courage to those who serve in nations where your Gospel and your Son are not welcomed.
Lord, in your mercy, make a way for your Gospel to touch this broken and suffering world. We will go in your strength, with your love and in your Name, for the sake of your glory and Kingdom!
May your peace and grace, O God, be with all those who love your Son Jesus Christ with sincere hearts.
