EHC Asia/Pacific Region.
As I write this report, Every Home for Christ is active in 15 nations across the Asia-Pacific region. The latest addition is the nation of East Timor, which is sometimes referred to as Timor Leste.
Though small in size, East Timor has experienced big problems in recent years and its one million people have endured years of suffering and political instability. For nearly a quarter century, from 1975 to 1999, East Timorese guerrillas waged a relentless campaign against the ruling Indonesian forces. It was a time of extreme brutality, ultimately achieving independence for East Timor in 2000. But the scars of violence and war were never healed and bloody riots and civil unrest took place, resulting in the loss of even more lives.

In a span of just six months, EHC’s evangelism campaign reached over 90 percent of the homes in East Timor!

I could tell many amazing stories about what God is doing, not just in East Timor but across our entire Asia-Pacific region. Day by day we are seeing God’s plan unfold and many miracles are happening before our eyes. We are anticipating a new work very soon in another Creative Access nation, which we believe is just another part of God’s great plan for this spiritually challenging part of the world.
We thank all of our brothers and sisters in Canada who have been supporting the worldwide ministry of EHC in prayers and finances. You have been such a vital part of this ministry and our successes in the field. I also pay a special tribute to our loyal soldiers in the field, our National Directors, staff, pioneer missionaries, Christ Group leaders, and volunteers. You are our heroes!
