Every Home for Christ got its start as a radio program in the small western city of Prince Albert SK. Listeners were offered tracts to use in personal evangelism and encouraged to join in a mission to spread the Gospel worldwide. That was 65 years ago. Right from the start, the spiritual seed planted in that unlikely place started to grow. Today, by God’s grace, EHC workers have taken the Good News of Jesus to over 1.4 billion homes in more than 210 nations. Literally millions of lives have been transformed and untold thousands of communities have felt the impact of God’s truth presented person by person, home by home, right where people live—be that home a house, a hut, a hospital bed, a prison cell or a military base.
Motivated to reach all the world and every person, EHC has continued to press forward by faith. We rejoice that by God’s grace more than 105 million people have responded to the Gospel message. All of those millions of responses have been followed up, even though a great percentage have come from dangerous parts of the world. For the past several years an average of 35,000 responses per day have been received and followed up by EHC offices around the globe.
Along with that EHC has established more than 179,000 Christ Groups (infant churches) for the purpose of grounding new believers in the faith. Last year, an average of 58 new Christ Groups were established every day.
There is so much to rejoice about concerning the past, but EHC has always been focused on looking ahead. We see an unparalleled opportunity to reach millions more with the Gospel. These are the “greater things” that God has in store for us, and we are believing God to bring together his team to meet the challenges—people whose hearts are stirred with compassion for lost people—people like you!
